Spruce Up Your Fence

Who has 2 thumbs and is ready for spring?  THIS GIRL!  I just love when the temperature warms up enough to wear capris and flip flops, the sun is shining, the wind is blowing... yes, spring could just be my FAVORITE season.  Now, we've all heard about spring cleaning INSIDE your house.  But, we all love being OUTSIDE in the gorgeous weather.  Sooooooooooooo... I found an adorable idea that I can't wait to try in our back yard.  I've been dying to try and plant some herbs and veggies in our yard.  Unfortunately, we have a terrible problem with ground moles. :-(
Badda Bing... Badda Boom!  The pots are on the fence!  DUH!  What a great idea right?  2 cool things (probably more than 2... but 2 come to mind right away).... 1 COLOR!  How fun to paint bright and vibrant colors on the pots and hang them out side?  2 Convenience!  So, let's say the weather is going to be nasty (windy, rainy, snap cold, hurricane... you get the picture), you can take the pots down and bring them inside.  Come on, right?  TOO EASY!

This will definitely be on our list of fun projects this spring!  I think I'll let the kids paint their own pot and plant a flower and take care of it... OH MY!  The possibilites are endless!!  Standby for pictures of our decorated  fence!! :-)

Go here for the complete step by step directions.  Thanks DIYideas.com for the AWESOME idea!!
